But Van Persie and his team have an excellent chance of doing so this season - being second in the Barclays Premier League, reaching the final of the Carling Cup and are still in the running in the FA Cup despite their shock 1-1 draw against Leyton Orient in the fifth round during the weekend.Speaking of his plans and goals for the future, the 27-year-old has pledged his future at the Emirates Stadium as he is adamant he only wants to win trophies with the Gunners and not anyone else.
He said: "I don't have the inclination to go anywhere. This is the best team for me to be in.
"The bottom line is that I want to win trophies with Arsenal, not with anybody else. I know you can win trophies in many countries and in many ways, but I want to do that in our way and in an Arsenal shirt.
