Andy Roddick claimed his 30th career title with a victory over Milos Raonic in the final of the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships.
The top-seeded American ground out a 7-6 (9-7) 6-7 (11/13) 7-5 victory over his Canadian opponent in two hours 36 minutes.
In a match which featured 52 aces - 32 from Raonic - Roddick's returning on his opponent's second serve proved the difference.
The Canadian was left to rue not making the most of his chances in the final set, converting just one of his five break points, as two breaks allowed Roddick to seal victory.
Roddick was delighted with his third Memphis title.
"Winning tennis tournaments I don't ever take for granted," he said on www.atpworldtour.com.
"I've won 30 of them now, but I think every one of them is just as exciting. I get just as much joy today as I did my first one."
