Premier League game between Fulham and Liverpool at Craven Cottage kicks off on Monday May 9 2011, kick-off 20.00 BS. Last season Fulham won 3-1 and Liverpool finished with nine men. Bobby Zamora gave Fulham the lead against the run of play but Fernando Torres equalised with an 18-yard volley. Erik Nevland restored Fulham’s lead before Philipp Degen and Jamie Carragher departed early, then Clint Dempsey tapped in Fulham’s third. Yet Fulham have drawn 15 games this season and the 3-0 victory over Sunderland last Saturday was the first time they had won successive Premier League games in 46 outings. If they win again it will be the first time they have enjoyed three straight victories for three years – when they won their last three of the 2007-8 season to avoid relegation. Mark Hughes, the Fulham manager, tests Brede Hangeland, who was a late withdrawal at Sunderland, with illness. Clint Dempsey also missed the game, with a hamstring strain, and he, too, could be available. But Damian Duff, Diomansy Kamara and Matthew Briggs are still missing.
