McInnes demands response from Saints St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes has urged his players to atone for their below-par weekend display when they host Tayside rivals Dundee United on Tuesday night. St Johnstone lost 2-0 at Inverness on Saturday to fall four points off the top six of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League. McInnes felt his players had failed to provide their travelling fans with the performance they deserved but their home fans have been treated to some solid displays in recent weeks - the Perth side have not conceded a goal at McDiarmid Park in five matches. And McInnes views the visit of Dundee United as the perfect opportunity to bounce back from the defeat against Terry Butcher's Caley Thistle, which came courtesy of goals in either half from Ross Tokely and Russell Duncan.
